DIRETO DE ESTOCOLMO · AGORA EM SÃO PAULO
A one man mission to save dance.
Svão Paulo — as he goes by now — washed ashore on the beaches of Santos still wearing sunglasses, exiled from the Kingdom of Sweden after spontaneously combusting a warehouse with chunky beats too powerful for mortal infrastructure.
The Swedish authorities called it reckless to share the forbidden playlist in that way. Svão called it "volume control." There were no survivors, except for one JBL speaker, which was later found levitating over Gothenburg and refusing to pair with any device but his.
Banished from his homeland, Svão now arrives in Brasil with a sacred mission: to liberate the people through dance music, ascend all JBLs to the axisphere, and spread joy using only his beats, his gyrations, and his deeply limited Portuguese.
Some say he learned rhythm from ABBA, melancholy from the northern winter, and crowd control from standing in line at Systembolaget. Others say he simply emerged from a sauna one day holding two USB sticks and a dream. We'll likely never know.
"He plays like ABBA never broke up and just moved to a beach club in Florianópolis." — Folha de S. Paulo (probably)
